at work it seems like i will be done by this weekend. maybe not even working the weekend. THANK FRIGGIN GOD. i cannot wait to be out of there. hopefully i will be productive when it is over and not just lay around in my beautiful air conditioned bed all day. i think not having to go there anymore will perk my spirits. we shall see. This past weekend was mike's and my two year anniversary. this comes a shock to many- mike and i included. i can't explain how it happened. but i can say that it was a lot of fun. mike took me to an arcade to the empire state building. i made him a cajun breakfast and took him to the IMAX space station movie. he likened it to a scavenger hunt- since neither of us knew what the other was planning. i have never done a scavenger hunt, but have always been jealous of those who have. they just sound so rad. my friend kim did a very elaborate one in high school that came down to a very close decision. apparently one thing on the list was "the beatles- white album" and her team got it on vinyl and another team got it on cd. her team thought they should win since they more closely followed directions. HIGH INTRIGUE. i need intrigue too. or, i wanted it in high school. for now, i will just have live vicariously through kim and tell her scavenger hunt stories.
