on monday night i went to kim and michelle's new place to pick up a disk with my resume on it that kim had made me. By the Way- i got laid off monday. WOOO-HOOOOOO! i mean, i can see the downside too, but i can also see the upside. unemployment vacation here i come. i digress, i was leaving their apartment to catch the 10:35 bus and mike and i were leisurely walking (as we were approx. 5 minutes early) and as we approached the bus stop i heard the bus so i moved toward the street and waved and jumped up and down- but it did not stop. it did not even slow down. BS! and the next bus was not for 30 more minutes (as it was a week night). then we noticed that about 10 blocks down the bus had to stop at a red light. so we took off running. and i have a bad cold, so breathing was tough anyway. but we made it before the light turned green- well, mike made it first- but i made it too. and we got home 5 minutes later. after the running i noticed a great pain in my ankles. turns out converse low tops are not the most supportive shoe. who knew! |
