today i am working in the twilight zone. exhibit a) miss fancy pants is wearing sweats and tennis shoes today exhibit b) it is a birthday today. the birthday of the kind of person that tells everyone when her birthday is so they can run around and buy her things. yet she mentioned it to no one, so no one seems to be prepared. exhibit c) all of the calorie counting women i work with tore into the haagen daz ice cream cake like it was going out of style. exhibit d) it's quiet in here today. the end may indeed be upon us. |
