back from LA and boy are my arms tired. har har har. the trip was awesome and really hit the spot. highlights include: disneyland, grocery shopping at trader joe's, making dinner, fixing up the apartment, naps!, sleepy times, walking on the beach at night, pie, seafood, and movie watching. it was really great. next mike will be home for months. MONTHS. i am so freaking exited. whole months with my ludbutttt. now he just has to buy the tickets. right now work is busy on a new front. we have to go to new hampshire, iowa and oklahoma in the next 10 days. busy! i am looking forward to it though. some paid trips sound mighty nice. thank goodness i got this lazy 4 day weekend behind me to give me energy. if you ever want to put mike in a great mood, take him on the "star tours" ride at disneyland. it's the old star wars ride where you're being taken on a tour of space but... OH NO! something goes horribly wrong! it's a common premise but mike was delighted even just waiting in line. he is a nerd all the way down to the bone. and i love him. |
