all day yesterday i felt kind of cruddy. it began as a tickle in my throat when i woke up in the morning. i felt okay, but just an inkling of cruddy was under the surface. i also couldn't tell if it was allergies (spring!) or the beginnings of a cold. i went to the gym after work yesterday- which may have been a bad decision. after that i felt worse. i decided to take some allergy medicine as a test. if it worked, then it was allergies i was suffering from. foolproof! anywho- it didn't work. but it did make me groggy and i slept solidly through the night. when i can't breathe- i sleep sitting up with my mouth open and i had a bunch of dreams about choking. this is normal. i have to be better by thursday so i am all about oj and zicam today. the weather outside is beautiful and i am about to go to the post office and then to get a salad (i am not a soup fan). i think this was brought on by my love of sleeping with windows open even when it is cold and rainy for 4 straight days. i guess there will be no gym for me tonight. just good old fashioned sleeping and eating. and amazing race watching. and errand running. and maybe, just maybe some cd burning. work continues to drag on in a medicine haze.... |
