March 28*2005, 6:14 pm easter weekend was pretty okay. i still had to work on saturday but i came in late so that it meshed well with my evening plans.

at work there was a crazy/hilarious discussion about women. one guy i work with has very particular tastes in the ladies. these are qualities he likes: throaty voice, pigment in skin, tall, smart, artsy, independent, loves animals. this guy is a 35 year old korean dude who is 5'6" and sort of intense. he is a great guy but his list of qualities gets longer by the day. but in hilarious ways liks "hmm i like a little more pigment in the skin".

then another guy gave me a lecture on what all goes into proposing. he even flashed me an overstuffed binder of research and quizzed me on the 4 C's. i only got two, carat and cut. (for those of you studying, the other two are cost and clarity). it was nutso.

then i went to see cheeseburger with mikki. it was good eventhough the girl lied to us so we only got to see two songs. christy claims the next show will be free for us to make it up. sure.

then mikki and i went to her apartment for her to change. however, we left with her in the same clothes. curious. she did change her hair though. i guess that counts.

he cat, fritz neuman, tried to woo me by flaunting his glorious belly and rolling all around my feet. what is with my friends' cats. they are all hams! camera hoggin hams.

then we went to some bar in greenpoint where a girl i know was djing. it was all for a strange purpose (revenge) but turned out to be pretty fun and very informative.

sunday was a day spent completely at brandon and karen't apartment. i did three loads of laundry and "played easter" several times. playing easter means hiding the eggs. the eggs were so cracked and beaten from the kids but i'm sure they're still hiding them today. when lily dropped one she said "it's cracked.. but i still like it".

the best was when brandon was watching spartacus and there was some bloody thing and bain said "what's wrong with spartacus?". man, those are gonna be some film snobby kids by the age of 10. mark my words.

then mike and i had a big fight over him being a poop. god, he can be such a poop. this time he punctuated it by getting off the phone. then waiting two hours, calling me while i was asleep just to wake me up with his poopness and then promptly say "i've gotta go!" and hang up again. the height of poop, i tell you!

it is 6:24 and i will still waiting for an apology. i am prepared for a long wait since this is not his strong suit.

tomorrow- no work. my office is being protested! killer. this is the second time in two years that i have not been able to work due to protesting types. whatta legacy.

i am cold so i borrowed devin's jacket (my sad sweatshirt is at home, nooooooooo). his jacket smells like it has been in an attic for years. devin could stand to smell nicer but in a really strange way. he doesn't smell bad, it's more like he doesn't smell good.

i like my boys to smell of sunshine and tide and lemon soap. is that too much to ask?
