on my first "date" with mike i asked if he wanted to see lou barlow. i had an extra ticket and he said "from sebadoh?" and then he said he really liked them and he would love to go. recently i mentioned wanting the last folk implosion album and said that kim told me it sounded more like sebadoh stuff. mike then said "yeah, i never really liked sebadoh". hmm. i said "that's weird. you claimed to really like them when we first met." and mike broke into a guilty grin and said "oh yeah, i just really wanted to go so i said that." he totally scammed me for a date. whatta wanker. (to be honest though he does like the folk implosion and just knowing who lou was, was enough to make me more interested in him immediately... i am shallow) |
