let's see. last night i had an awesome dinner with a bunch of ladies. NO BOYS ALLOWED. it was really fun. beforehand i had to kill time so i went to anthropologie to see what was on sale. i got a butter yellow cardigan for 34 bucks. and it's tax free week. nice! dinner was good times. talk of scary movies and book deals and haircuts and taxes were all the rage. oh, and also my super sweet 16, the new show on mtv that shows a really rich girl having a huge 16th bday party. it is nutso. it goes without saying that i love it. the show mike and i are making is coming along well. terry is helping edit the casting videos and sharon and i are going back up to rockland on saturday. i really hope that this all goes well. i have been quite stressed out lately but there is some excitement there too. i want everything to work out nicely. and for all our hard work to pay off. i am also looking for a literary agent. i have no idea where to start. it is very intimidating. and i am learning a devo song on the guitar for this show and it is HARD. devo is much harder than people probably think. crazy rhythms and very specific sounds. people really know if you make a mistake. i am also so busy at work that i barely have a chance to think. i guess that is good, it makes the day go faster. and i have to clean up, do laundry and go to a superbowl party, then mike arrives really late next thursday night. 7 days! countdown begins now. goodnight. |
