this weekend was pretty good. very much in contrast to last weekend when i spent two days in an allergy medicine haze eating cold pizza and watching 7th heaven re-runs. the kills show last night was good stuff. i wonder how tonight's will be. the band that opened for them is some kind of goth/country band but they didn't seem that goth. one girl in the band is SUPER tall and was wearing a very tim burton-esque dress. everyone else was dressed more country. but anyway they were really good. they are called blanche. my mom called me saturday when i was up at sharon's. when i called her back i got screamed at for a few minutes, ending with her telling me that this is why she has never liked me very much. thanks mom! i'll have to remember that next time she calls me for money. she also had a nice gem about missing me sometimes but then remembering how awful i am and getting over it. ugh. in awesome news- last week i bought the new rilo kiley cd and the older shins cd (i used to really like flake music) and i am OBSESSED with them. i had been getting bored with my music too so it was perfect timing. i did laundry yesterday and i just blasted my ipod the whole time. i don't remember any noises or voices of the laundromat. just pretty jenny lewis croonings. mike gets home in 2 days! i am so freaking psyched. movies i want to see: that is a lot! |
