i went to a party on friday night for brian's birthday. laura ended up being there. small world. he dj-ed most of it, it was a good time. would have been better if i had remembered my inhaler, but ah well. at some point it was a lot like a middle school dance with girls in one section and boys in one section and no one dancing. then it became more like a high school dance when some pot heads holed up in the bleachers, and the badasses stood against the wall while the dancers danced. then he played "beat it" and i rocked the floor with my awesome dancing shoes! it was so rad. i like dancing. with mike it is always exciting, since i have no idea what he's gonna do or what rhythm he'll be on. it's cute. he's all upper body. like ringo starr in a hard day's night. work has been hard lately. very long hours and not enough sleep, running from place to place. but i have to horde money! cha-ching. and i'm getting fred. color me excited. dylan is setting up a new show, i'm just waiting on more info before i can do the poster. wait wait wait. i asked mike if i could have a pinball machine in our house when we're rich and he said "sure"- then i realized that when we're rich we'll have a "house" and i got excited. alas, i will never be rich. dare to dream! |
