i saw the best dog ever yesterday. her name was backgammon and she was a little pug with a black face and bug eyes- and she loved me. i mean loved. i miss her so much. mike is making fun of me because we only saw the dog for like 1 minute. it is love at first sight i tell you! she was so rolly polly and just wanted to love everthing. her owner was an adorable 14 year old nerdy nerd (he named his dog backgammon!) who was very pale with braces. i am willing to bet 100 bucks that he grows up hot. this was a very social weekend for me and the ludbot. coupled with me being sick and him having lots of writing to do. on friday night we went out late and when we got home i felt strange- like UTI strange. and it hit super fast and hard. so i was up all night and at 8am mike got up and went and got me medicine and cranberrty juice. so nice of him. and then we both went to bed. the not sleeping much didn't hit me until the next night- when i crashed HARD. on saturday i was nauseus from the medicine so i just laid around and watched movied on USA "bring it on" " can't hardly wait" and "never been kissed". mike walked in at the end of that one with me sitting on the couch crying. it was embarrassing. cheesy movies are the best. i made him dinner since he got up and ran that medicine errand for me. sunday we had a brunch party and a bbq at brandon and karen's. so much good food. it was awesome. mike spent a good part of the bbq playing dinosaurs with bain. somehow bain thinks of mike as his friend and not as an adult. when we got there he started getting his dinosaurs out. this girl at the party turns out to manage a spa- and so she waxes people. i had her tell me about gross people who come in. i could never do her job! i am having ANOTHER freaking problem with my phone bill and have been on hold the whole time i was writing this entry. f verizon. i wish i could dump them altogether.
