i have officially edited something on final cut pro by myself. no one even checked up on me. it's good stuff. just have a font problem. in that my fonts aren't showing up. i will figure it out sooner or later. i babysat this weekend but ended up having one kid at a play date and one taking a nap- so i really just watched a bunch of sex and the city on hbo on demand. one day, when i am rich, i will indulge in hbo on demand- it is so radass! its like tivo but you don't have to set anything. just the thing for lazy me. i saw "what a girl wants". it was hilarious. the main girl dances wayyyy too much though. almost to the point of retardation. i guess she is just that funky. i have no idea. colin firth is adorable though. the best was when the song from sorority life came on and mike and ann both mentioned it- HILARIOUS. mike knows too much about sorority life. whose fault could that be....i give up. the band was awesome and neat and clean. i was so jealous of them being on tour and not me- NOT FAIR. i realize that i am not even in a real band, but i still should be on tour. even if its really just a long road trip. kevin- the singer- is even getting married when they are in vegas. only rad bands on tour can do things like that. sharon and mike were also super jealous. mike thinks we should write a script about going on tour. i guess its the next best thing. rehearsal went well yesterday. at first it was disorienting to hear my singing voice so loud and in my face. but after a while i think we got used to it and started really belting it out. we won't be accused of being too quiet anymore i don't think. we could very well be tone deaf though- fingers crossed that we're not..... |
