a hilarious thing about spain that i totally forgot about, was the magazines. there was a magazine that looked like maxim- typical greased up lady in a bathing suit on the cover. and i didn't really notice it- but then i read about the articles. one was about terrorism, one was about starving children, there were interviews with CEOs etc... and i was like "huh". so i opened it and found no more scantily clad ladies or articles on how to get more women to sleep with you etc... the cover is just to get you to buy the magazine-and read about legitimate news. i started noticing a lot more of them. there was a computer magazine with a guy wearing a unbuttoned shirt in the wind. and some other news magazine that had a close up of a wet lady's face and chest. i bet more people there read the news than here. i have a lot of work to do today- but i can't do it until i scan something in. and i don't have a scanner so that is a problem at the moment. a problem that i am working on fixing. i also need to shower. and a different world is on. busy busy. |
