holy crap how i love sleeping in on weekdays. it makes me feel like it is already the weekend, and so now when sunday comes along i will be back on a weekday schedule and wake up early only to be pleasantly surprised that it is only sunday. i think that one thing this diary was missing was long, fumbling, faulkner-esque sentences. and now it has them. now it is perfect. *************************************** i have a job for next week now. i got home from coney island yesterday (i lived to tell the tale!) to a message from my friend dennis that i have a job for at least a week, maybe more. making the big bucks in times square. maybe i will hit up my other midtown working friends for lunch next week. kimkim, ludbutt, glenn, sharona perhaps. the list goes on and on. *************************************** mike is figuring out potato salad so we can make it for a bbq today. but i get the distinct impression that he would rather take fried chicken. *************************************** mike bought the new hives cd and it is really good. not as good as the make up (they dress like the make up or something i dont know), but cute like swedish boy rock should be. we keep listening to it. it makes me want to boogie.
