today i ate a taco salad for lunch. i got it at fresca tortillas. there was something strange about the guy who made it's mouth and he seemed to have an "arm disease" so i had a hard time eating it and eventually gave up. my friend teresa in high school read about the rate of herpes among americans and was baffled that it was so high. something like 3 out of 5 or 4 out of 5 americans over the age of 12 have oral or genital herpes. so she got hypersensitive to it. and we were on a road trip to st. louis and we stopped to eat in some small ass town, and the waitress might have had a cold sore. i personally thought it was chapped lips. and teresa would not eat one bite of her food. she just paid for it and left. and then she came to visit me during my first year in new york, and one of my roommies had just been diagnosed with herpes. she would bleach the toilet before she would use it. ain't no one getting any herpes on her!
