i have been swamped lately working on the screening. but then yesterday was an awesome lazy day where i did not use the computer. those days are the best! last night mike made gumbo, with my lovely vegetable chopping assistance. and it turned out BUTT NASTY. it tasted so bad that we were even sick afterwards. and today mike got home and said "it smells weird in here, like throw up." mm mmm. the screening ended up going pretty well. even mike was happy (and he is the pickiest one of the bunch). i think champion lemonade turned out really well. perhaps the most professional in the screening. and he got compliments afterward. so he was as happy as he could be. eric and sharon were very pleased too- so that means it was a SUCCESS! you hear that?? success! and now for one more tomorrow night. there is one lady who is bound and determined to drive me nuts before then, so i just have to relax and let her do whatever she wants because she has made it more than clear that she is going to do what she wants anyway. i hate stage moms. i am making the cover for this zine my friend is doing but i keep changing my mind for the main graphic. i have to decide tonight. it is right now between a boombox and a megaphone. which will win???? i have to put away my laundry- that has been sitting out for 5 days. at this point i am beyond procrastinating. but i really just was swamped with work when i did it. really. my body has been really sore lately.
