i know that i tend to be flaky with this thing. sometimes writing often and then taking three weeks off with no notice. but last week i actually did try to do some entries but the site was messed up. first time for everything i suppose. this weekend was AWESOME. seriously. it wasn't pretty good, but then crappy at the end. or okay. but awesome from start to finish. on friday mike was supposed to go out with his friend pete. but pete ditched mike for a date and i had not made any plans. at about 5 on friday mike got on im and said he was going to take me to see "bend it like beckham"! i was so psyched. mike wanting to see a teen girl soccer movie made him the BEST BOYFRIEND EVER. and before the movie we had some awesome turkish kebab. hot. then, something so awesome that i could never plan it happened- the weather got nice. i know, i couldn't believe it. i was out all day saturday and it friggin beautiful. sun shining. birds chirpin. the whole nine. and to top it all off mike and i both got lots of errands done. HOT. then we went to lisa's to pick up....HOWIE!!!! howie the wonder doggie. when we got home pete called saying he was going to come over and hang out- HOT. so we ordered mexican food and watched saturday night live and played with the doggie. and i wake up sunday to find that the weather is even nicer. so rad. i took a mid morning nappy and watched meatballs two on tv. then i met kim and laura for a free yoga class. yoga has never really been my thing, but i figured it was free so why not. i am not flexible- AT ALL, and i seem to laugh during it which is awful since it is all about concentration. but it was "restorative yoga" where you lay around on blankets and stuff and relax and get little massages with lavendar over your eyes. holy shit. it was so sweet. one guy kept falling asleep though and snoring pretty loudly which was making me laugh- but i managed to keep it inside my head. then we got sushi and went to see terry's show. it was pretty funny- i had never seen it before. terry is always funny. and so is amy. but some people in it i had never really seen before. meighan's new "boyfriend" (kissy kissy) was in it, so there was all this pressure on him to be adorable and hilarious since we were all there judging him. he passed the test. i remember when mike had to pass those tests. i think i get more nervous than him. it's hard to date preformers! you don't know how psyched i was when he had a great show while my dad and hamid were in the audience. WHEW! whatta relief. and then i came home to a very lovey howie who made out with my face for about 20 minutes. he is a very co-dependant doggie. but we also have him when he is left by his mommy and his sister is at a kennel. so i won't hold it against him. |
